This is a page from my book. An actual page from the actual book that I have so far spent more than an actual year working on.
It is a visible step in this journey from a story that I tell at the bar to lovingly crafted novel that you will (I hope) give me money for. It is tangible proof of this thing I have been telling people about for so long; telling people for even longer that I would do it.
It's pretty much all I think about (pretty much -- I am male, after all).

Congratulations on keeping at the work. I finished my first about a year ago and am in the agent-hunting stage. I felt like I'd given birth when I finished the last page. Keep it up, and I'll sure as shit buy a copy.
Well, I love your writings on here and in your column, so I MUST love your book as well. If you will not publish it in Europe, I am gonna ask my uncle in the States to ship me a copy! When do you plan on getting it finished? What does your glass orb tell you?
Its got everything that I'm looking for in a book.
1. Letters and Words.
2. Full Stops
3. Commas
4. Man! Even a semi-colon! How cool is that?!
Is it about squirrels?
I think you need a couple of "shut up!" comments in there. Otherwise, it reads pretty good.
Yes, it's very book-like, indeed -- just like the ones I see in bookstores but without the sexy cover. There are still a number of hurdles to overcome before it reaches that stage, and I really have no idea how long it will all take.
