Congratulations! Seven years seems like a long time to me. That's a really cute picture - looks like you like each other a lot and have fun together. I'm no expert on marriage, but if you look like that in the wedding pictures, I think you've got a good shot at making it to your 70th wedding anniversary. Provided, of course, that you don't sit around and drink beer and not work. That might get on the child bride's nerves after another 7 years or so.
According to the Chicago Public Library, year 7 Traditional is Wool or Copper, and year 7 Modern is Desk sets. Perhaps a new desk with a wool cover and copper ornaments? Guess you'll have to take up antique hunting in Cardiff . . . .
belated congrats! Rob and I recently had our wood anniversary, which prompted some off-color jokes. You'll have to tell me one of these days, why the "child bride?" I'm sure you explained it in early blog days, but I missed it.

Sweeeeeeet. Congratulations and have fun. I believe Year Seven is the wool anniversary. I know how much you two dig wool already.

I had that haircut once....for 8 years. I'm happy that both of us have found a better way.
Oh yeah, happy anniversary.
Congratulations!
Wuh-HEY! Happy Anniversary!
Now THAT's the haircut I remember. Good to know it wasn't in my head.
Congratulations!
Happy anniversary from me too.
It's funny how you're concentrating on actually cutting the cake whilst the Child Bride has more important things on her mind.
Beautiful couple, and, as I understand it, she's still pretty.
Congrats! I'm always happy to hear of a successful love story.

Happy Anniversary. What a light-weight. Seven years? Check back when you hit double digits, youngling!
I thought seven years was the Beer Anniversary. Of course, every anniversary is the beer anniversary, isn't it?

On a side note, was the cake delish?
